What to know/expect when playing with GSL Tournaments:

All tournaments are played with USA Bat Standards. 8-13U require bats with USA Stamp, BBCOR or Wood Bat. 14U Majors and above require BBCOR or Wood bats. 14U AAA can swing USA drop 5 bats. 

8-12u GSL Tournaments have pitching restrictions (click here to view rules) however, we still strongly recommend and encourage all teams educate coaches, players and parents on the USA Pitch Smart guidelines.

13u -18u GSL Tournaments do not have pitching restrictions. Instead, we strongly recommend and encourage all teams educate coaches, players and parents on the USA Pitch Smart guidelines. We strongly encourage teams to follow these guidelines in the best interest of their players' health.

8-12U games are 1 hour 45 minutes no new inning OR 6 innings. 13-14U games are 2 hours no new inning OR 7 innings

Run rules for all age divisions are 12 runs after 3 innings, 10 runs after 4 innings and 8 runs after 5 innings.

Teams can make a schedule request while registering or by visiting the event page. 

Youth Schedules will be released no later than 5:00pm on Tuesday the week of the event (4 days prior to start of the event)

High School schedules will be released no later than the Friday prior to the start of the event. 

We strongly encourage teams to pay for events more than 2 weeks in advance. This helps us prepare umpires, fields and other logistics that will provide a better experience. When we have to scramble last minute to add/confirm teams, it creates a lot of extra work. All payments submitted within 14 days of the event will be charged a $50.00 late fee.

In order to be placed on the schedule, teams must pay 8 days prior to the event. The Friday the week prior is the final cutoff for getting added to an event. We finalize schedules the Monday week of the event and therefor do not accept registrations week of the event.
